Hi, James. I am a JPPAer. Somehow, I found this very intersting blog. It's very unique since it is the only English blog which introduces what's going on in Japanese poker community (are we vanishing breed or mutie?). BTW it seems you love music. How about holding a Karaoke party on (mostly) English songs (Yogaku-Shibari karaoke) after a tourney (Everest Cup or Straddle Cup)?.
An American expat, I've lived and worked in Tokyo for coming up on ten years. I picked up poker after downloading an ep of Celebrity Poker Showdown on a lark, and since then it's been an on-again, off-again struggle to learn the game, not suck, and find places to play.

Sure, that sounds good to me! I won't be attending this weekend, but maybe next Friday for the Everest Cup would be good?
